Live in care
Live-in care is often a practical option for those who need high levels of support but who don’t want to sacrifice being independent and living in the home they are comfortable in. Live-in care allows the clients to have complete control over their own schedule, such as setting meal times and chore schedules, and creates the opportunity to forge a genuine, friendly and social bond with our care workers.
Our live-in care workers are all trained to provide quality care and assistance across a diverse range of essential activities such as personal care, meal preparation and running errands through to managing correspondence and organisation. All our care workers go through specialist training to accommodate your particular health needs whatever they may be. As well as training in how to be accommodating and respectful in our client’s homes.
Virtus Care will always make the transition to having a live-in care worker as smooth as possible, we always make sure communication is at the forefront of the process in order to provide a carer who matches our client’s expectations.
In the UK today, there’s an unfortunate situation where age often leaves people being left alone over time, however we believe nobody should ever be alone if they don’t want to be.
Our companionship services are designed for you and your loved ones and to give you the confidence to live the life you want and hope for but with a caring companion by your side to assist in daily living, care and general companionship.
Whether you’d like regular company with genuine social interaction, transportation, help in the house, or even indoor/outdoor activities and hobbies– Virtus Care are committed to providing the companionship service for you to explore and experience life to the full.
A terminal illness is distressing and can affect an entire family. We at Virtus Care understand how sensitive this time can be and that’s why we try our best to offer the most understanding and specialist palliative care service possible. Our specialist support and day-to-day assistance with things can allow you and your family to make the most of your time together in the most comfortable setting possible.
Palliative care is usually provided in your own home allowing you to stay in the place you feel most comfortable, surrounded by the people you love. Virtus Care will make sure to match your needs with a compassionate carer who is specially trained to deal with delicate situations.
Virtus’ hourly care provides the amount of care needed based on the clients’ needs. Visits by carers are arranged in advance according to a pre-agreed care plan, visits by carers can be once a day visits, or more often, depending on the amount of care requested.
Hourly care is suitable for people who are not yet ready for live-in care. The care can be personal care, housework based, cooking and meal planning, medical support or related to companionship.
